On 6th and 7th November 2019 a series of capacity building workshops took place in Alexandroupolis in the framework of the Water for the City Programme, that is implemented by Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med) in collaboration with the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and the Water and Sewerage Enterprise of Alexandroupolis, with the financial support of The Coca-Cola Foundation. 

Participants in the three back-to-back workshops, hosted at the Municipal Library, followed a targeted presentation on IUWM and were engaged in the serious game, becoming familiar with technical solutions for climate change adaptation at local level, acknowledging real life problems and restrictions and improving their negotiation and collaboration skills.
